Reimagining Berlin’s urban heart through the people who call it home.
For Oxford’s Insights series, we told the story of Potsdamer Platz’s transformation - from a 1990s symbol of ambition into a neighbourhood built for Berliners. The film captures how listening, collaboration, and local insight reshaped one of Europe’s most iconic public spaces.

We approached the project as a documentary of perspective, grounding the story in real voices and daily life.
Through interviews with Oxford’s personnel, we traced how listening to the community inspired each design choice.
Cinematic visuals of the plaza, archival footage from the 1990s, and scenes of modern Berlin life created a dialogue between past and present - between ambition and authenticity.

Das Center reframed Potsdamer Platz as a living, local space once again.
The film helped Oxford communicate its role as a long-term city builder - committed to creating places that grow from the ground up.
Today, the plaza is thriving: new tenants, green gathering spaces, and a renewed sense of belonging in the heart of Berlin.
